Zingy’s roots are in the Anjou region, near the city of Angers. Bred and developed here, the apple is lovingly nurtured by local growers. Faithful to its roots, this is its first major production area. This year, Zingy has branched out and is being trialled in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

Four milestones

2003

First cross-pollination performed in Angers. Zingy is created.

2007

Zingy’s outstanding character is confirmed. Research continues.

2016

Innatis discovers Zingy’s potential and begins production and marketing across Europe.

2019

Zingy is launched!

From its first fruit setting, Zingy was exceptional among apple varieties. Of course, Zingy apples have always looked very appealing and this is reinforced by the surprising, captivating flavour. The apple’s beautiful colouring and taste have remained identical since those early days. Zingy is the fruit of 15 years of selection, testing and development by a team of passionate professionals who seek constant innovation to satisfy the yearnings of everyone who loves a good apple!
