Zingy Apple and Honey Strudel

For all foodies and apple lovers, today we’re discovering a new recipe together: Zingy Apple and Honey Strudel!

To make your Zingy®️ and honey strudel, make sure you have all the necessary utensils to hand. You will need a frying pan, an oven, a pastry brush, a rolling pin, a knife, and a wooden spoon.

Once you have all the utensils ready, let’s take a look at the ingredients you will need.

INGREDIENTS

You will need puff pastry, 3 Zingy®️ apples, the juice of one orange, 30g butter, one beaten egg, 50g sugar, 80g ground almonds, one teaspoon of cinnamon, and two tablespoons of liquid honey.

Now that you have all the ingredients and utensils you need, you’re ready to start making your Zingy and honey strudel!

PREPARATION

First, cut the Zingy®️ apples into small pieces, then sauté them in butter. Add the orange juice, honey, raisins, and sugar. Then cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, so that the apples and raisins take on the flavor of the honey and orange juice. Drain and let cool, then preheat the oven to 428°F.

While the mixture is cooling, roll out the puff pastry and sprinkle a strip of ground almonds in the middle, then spread the apple mixture on top.

Sprinkle the rest of the ground almonds on top, then fold the puff pastry over and brush with beaten egg.

For the final step, mix a little sugar with the cinnamon, then sprinkle on top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the oven.

Now all you have to do is wait 😉
